This highly practical course will provide the skills and knowledge base needed for dealing with an unresponsive casualty, including the use of a Defibrillator (AED)
- Discuss how to recognise and assess someone who is experiencing cardiac arrest.
- Outline the signs and symptoms of chest pain, choking and an unconscious patient.
- Discuss the recovery position
- Demonstrate how to initiate compressions and safe use of a defibrillator (A.E.D)
- Outline the use of an A.E.D.
