PHASE 1
The Kickstarter (4/5/6 October 2023):
Did you know that over 85% of dentists who attend standard implant courses, NEVER place or restore an implant! It’s a staggering fact, and tells us that although we can all learn the theory and background to implant dentistry, only a few actually are able to take that knowledge to the next level and into treatment.
We aim to help change that.
The first 3 days are designed to target the common questions many have after completing a more scientific based implant programme…. How do I get patients? How do I communicate with them? And how do I convert them to into implant treatment?
Without this knowledge and ability, many dentists struggle to convert their clinical and technical knowledge into actual treatment.
Day 1: Patient Assessment and Communication
With James Hamill and Chris Barrow
Topics
a) How to attract patients using simple, proven and effective methods
b) How to quickly be able to select appropriate patients and avoid the ones you need to refer
c) How to have an implant focused conversation
d) Core skills required to convert patients to accepting implant dentistry
Day 2: Digital Case Planning: An introduction to guided surgery and its benefits

After the initial 3 days you will be provided access to a digital case portfolio book. Here you can start to build your initial cases on-line, treatment plan them and digitally plan them. You will also be given access to the ‘Accelerator online support forum’ where you can discuss cases, get treatment planning guidance and have access to useful documents such as consent, T’s and G’s, treatment plan
letter templates etc.
1:1 mentoring and small group mentoring will also be available at this stage.
Between the March and June dates, with focus, support and determination all delegates will be able to convert patients, treatment plan cases, place implants and be ready for the restorative stage of the course. Remember you will have ALL THE TOOLS….
PHASE 2
Now we’re moving (4/5 March 2024):
With 3 months of support now under your belt and a structure in place for selecting cases, communicating with patients, digitally treatment planning and guided surgery practical skills you will be proud to be up and running.
The next stage of the programme is to get you ready to be able to predictably restore the cases you have planned and are planning using digital techniques. You will have learnt that the best restorative planning starts right at the beginning of the process and therefore the restorative element of treatment should be straightforward with no surprises.
