Dr Peter Doherty BA, BDentSc, MFDS(RCSI), PG Cert Imp Dent (Newcastle)

Dr. Doherty studied dentistry at Trinity College in Dublin, where he was awarded a scholarship, and graduated in 2003. His first year after graduation was spent as a House Officer at Dublin Dental Hospital before moving to private practice.

Following this, he spent five years in the North East of England where he worked in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Newcastle General Hospital and Sunderland Royal Hospital.

During this time, he studied implant dentistry at Newcastle Dental Hospital and graduated in 2011. On his return to Ireland he provided implant services across several practices before becoming a founding partner of 3Dental, a multidisciplinary practice with branches in Dublin and Limerick. He limits his practice to the surgical and restorative aspects of implant dentistry and has particular interests in soft and hard tissue grafting, full arch immediate load, and single tooth immediate implants.
