The advancement of digital dentistry is changing the world of denture design and manufacture for the better and many are interested in learning more. However, getting access to relevant, practical and independent education is difficult. This course aims to solve that problem with guest speakers who have successfully implemented 3D printing and digital design into their every day work.
During these 2 days the delegates will get to immerse themselves in all aspects of digital denture design and manufacture and will emerge with a solid grasp of how they can take the next steps to using predictable, time saving and cost effective strategies in their own business.
Using real patients, live design demonstrations on EXOCAD, real time printing and learning the best finishing techniques makes this course a must for all interested in how to modernise the denture industry.
By the end of the course all delegates will:
- Have gained a solid foundation in all aspects of successful digital denture design and manufacture using 3D printing.
- Understand the benefits that intra-oral scanning can bring to the delivery of full and partial dentures.
- Have an understanding of the use of EXOCAD for denture design.

- Gain a real time appreciation of what is involved in the use of 3D printers for denture manufacture.

- Sending STL’s to print
- Printing the denture

Please note due to limited Exocad dongles we will be limited to live design, however if you have your own laptop and software, please bring these with you to the course
There are specific laptop requirements to drive Exocad these can be found- Hardware Requirements – exocad , if you wish to purchase your design software in advance of the course, please let us know so we can arrange.
