Join Rupert Monkhouse for this hands-on 3Shape course focused on mastering digital denture workflows. Designed for clinicians looking to confidently integrate digital processes into removable prosthodontics, the course combines theory, case-based discussion, and practical application.
Delegates will explore complete digital workflows in 3Shape, review real clinical cases highlighting common challenges and their solutions, and take part in a practical scanning and design session. Working in pairs, participants will scan silicone impressions, perform altered cast impressions, and handle copy denture cases using a range of materials and equipment.
By the end of the course, delegates will have a clear understanding of how to implement efficient, predictable, and patient-centred digital denture workflows in everyday practice.
Aims & Objectives
- To appreciate the importance of the conventional principles of removable prosthodontics to allow successful integration of digital technology
- To understand the variety of ways we can implement digital technology into our denture workflows
- To understand the benefits of digital design and manufacture
- To understand the workflow for two visit complete reference dentures

Dr Rupert Monkhouse
Rupert is a general dentist working in private practice in Pangbourne, Berkshire.
He has had a passion for removable prosthodontics since university and provides the majority of the dentures at the practice, including both internal and external referrals.
Since hosting the ImpressionClub Live sessions Rupert has developed a keen interest in speaking and sharing his passion for removable prosthodontics.
Rupert sits on the young committees for both the International Team for Implantology UK & Ireland and the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Rupert is a regular speaker through other ImpressionClub courses as well as presenting for the ITI, BACD, BDA, BDSA and Bespoke Smile Academy amongst others.
Rupert is currently undertaking specialist training in Prosthodontics as part of the MClinDent programme at King’s College London.
