• Implant dentistry is the least covered topic in dental school and is often overlooked as a treatment option by young dentists. BITE starter course will demystify the world of implant dentistry for recent graduates.

• BITE places a strong emphasis on hands on skills supported by interactive learning by case discussion and lectures.

• The aim of the starter day course is to equip young dentists with the knowledge and tools to understand the role implant dentistry plays in general dental practice today.

• The course will cover topics such as; case assessment, appropriate referral and management of complications. The course will also have a strong focus on ‘how to’ get involved in implant dentistry, in both the surgical and restorative components.

• The day will finish with a number of hands-on components including impressions of and restoring dental implants.
